This allows newer business owners to benefit from the years of wisdom our veteran business owners have acquired and our “younger-gen” business owners to share their knowledge on the youth-driven aspects of running a successful business, like the important role of social media and e-commerce websites.
The IWS Support Office Team is headed up by our fearless leader and CEO Peter Doherty, whose appointment in late 2023 ushered in a new era for IWS after 26 years of keeping a very small and agile Head Office Team. Under Peter’s leadership, that Head Office has flourished and grown into what is now known within the group as the IWS Support Office.
With several years’ experience in the industry, Peter is the former owner of multiple highly successful retail businesses and boasts a fascinating background in radio presenting and sports coaching, speaking to his passions for innovation, communication, collaboration and strong leadership.
Leading a growing team currently consisting of seven permanent roles and expanding fast, Peter is firmly focused on securing the most competitive deals from our suppliers, while continually striving for business growth and success for all involved parties. The IWS Support Office Team is friendly, approachable and genuine, and each team member boasts a wealth of knowledge and expertise in their respective fields. We’re here to help every step of the way.
Becoming a member of IWS is a simple five step process.
The first step is to download the "Prospective Membership Application" (PMA) in your preferable format (Docx or PDF) by clicking on the button below. Then complete the form and e-mail it back to contact@iwsaustralia.net.
Your application will be reviewed by an executive and due diligence will be done to make sure your business fits with our group model. If successful you will receive an e-mail with a "Confidentiality Agreement" (CA) and a "New Membership Agreement" (NMA) or you can download them from the links below.
Complete the CA and pages 11 and 12 of the NMA and post them to the address on the NMA.
After the documents are reviewed, signed copies of the CA and NMA will be returned to you for your records. We will also e-mail you a Tax Invoice and a copy of our Deal Book at this point.
When the Tax Invoice is paid, all Suppliers will be notified of your joining, and you can start enjoying the benefits of your membership right away!
